The Mendies Farm 2019 Winter Community Supported Agriculture program is now opened for sign ups. This program is a sustainable Naturally Grown Winter Farming experience using protective cultivation, hydroponics and no dig greenhouse production using no pesticides or herbicides. We keep Jack Frost at bay with the help of biomass wood waste from our forest. We choose not to feed the plants but to feed our soils with compost, instead letting the biology of the soil do the work. Harvests are bi weekly and there is a Winter solstice break the month of January. Over the last 8 years we have been pioneering Winter Farming in New Jersey and I must say thanks to the support of our 8 year Winter members that have paved a road to true Winter production of local food. We have been blessed richly with the sweetest, freshest, cleanest naturally grown vegetables in the Wintertime! We are now accepting members for this Fall and Winter. Sign ups are based on a first come basis, to sign up use the sign up link above. Know where your food is coming from, who is growing it and how is it being grown.
Thank you for your Community Supported Agriculture
